Your Window

Yours to look through

Every project comes with a private page of your own. You can open it any time and see exactly where things stand, in plain words, without asking. Here is what is in it.

What happens if you write to me

You do not need the Window to work with me. This is the whole path, start to finish.

  1. You tell me what you are building. The form asks for the idea, what is pulling you toward it, a budget range and a timeline. Seven fields, no account.
  2. I read it, and I reply myself. Submissions are reviewed weekly. A real reply from a real person, which is the only kind there is here.
  3. If it fits, we talk. I only take on a few projects at a time, so fit matters to me. If it feels like a match I will be in touch.
  4. I build it, start to finish. Architecture, interface, build, launch, and the upkeep after, with no handoff in the middle where the thinking gets dropped.
  5. You watch it happen, or you do not. Every project comes with a private page of your own. Open it any time, or leave it closed and let the work come to you.

Artinian GemsThe trade door
The front door, trade onlyartiniangems.com

No cart, and no prices in the open. The first thing a visitor meets is a door with a lock on it, which is the whole posture of a wholesale house.

Every stone, searchableInventory

Filtered by gem, color, shape and origin against live stock. Four and a half thousand stones, and the figures under the seam exist only for members.

Selling from someone else’s back roomTrade desk

Consignment. A jeweler lists what they hold, takes it to a show or a showroom, and the pricing follows whoever is looking at it.

The trade, in their own wordsTestimonials

Jewelers who actually buy here, carried as a reel rather than a wall of pull quotes.

Caveman GemsThe public door
The front door, open widecavemangems.com

Prices in the open and a film behind the promise: the opposite posture to Artinian, and the same family. Edition-made jewelry, artisanal-cut stones, and the sourcing story one press down.

The shop, priced in the openShop

Origin, shape, treatment, color, carat, certified or matched pair, and price bands instead of a members’ seam. What the wholesale house hides below the fold, the storefront sells above it.

The customers, in their own wordsReviews

A five-point-oh across nine Google reviews, quoted whole and named. Most of them mention David by name, which is not something a widget can fake.

Field notes, not fillerEditorials

Buying guides for sapphire, ruby and emerald; grading, estate and vintage. The reading that turns a browser into a buyer, with a free consult sitting beside it.

Wholesale · Storefront · Systems

Artinian Gems and Caveman Gems are one family company with two front doors. Artinian is the wholesale house: loose colored stones sold to jewelers, not the public, so there is no cart and no urgency, a ledger and a memo pipeline instead, and a price wall that leaves every figure off a logged-out page and re-injects it for members only. Caveman is the opposite posture and the same family: stones sold live on camera with the prices in the open, on one WordPress plugin that grew to thirty-two modules, took the catalog from 244 indexable pages to 3,720, and shipped sixty-three versions to the live store in twenty-seven days without a rollback. Two doors, because a trade price can never reach a page the public can open, and a retail shop has to show its prices to sell.

A cartridge is a recipe, not a filter. Each reaches a different way down into the language, and switching swaps the model rather than a setting on it.

Linguistics · Language · Tool

Describe a feeling. LimIcon finds the real etymological roots that carry its senses, you choose which two or three to fuse, and it hands back a word with a true etymology and a permanent, citable page. The model only proposes, you do the selecting, which is what keeps authorship yours. The unusual part is that it shipped its own scorecard first: five axes, and it sits at 2.67 out of 5 right now, with the weakest being inevitability, the axis the whole thing is named for. Publishing that number is the point. It is a gradient to climb instead of a demo to trust.

The lens narrows the map, the heat, the filaments and the index at once. Bodies are named. The people it lands on never are.

Civic · Records · Public

When a rule lands on you, the real question isn't whether it's good policy, it's whether the people who made it had the standing to, and how far they sit from the people it lands on. UnImpact measures that distance. It scores the legitimacy of authority on two axes, makes every negative score disclose its own sourced basis before it can publish, and defeats brigading by arithmetic instead of moderation. Careful by design, and sitting behind a legal review before it opens the doors.

Nothing is written twice. A day is logged once, and what a client reads is the same record with the workings taken off it.

Foyer · Window · Atelier · Brain · Switchboard

A studio that builds operating systems for other businesses should run on one. Pentinian is five pillars that interlock: the Foyer wins the work, the Window shows each client their own build drip-fed from the work log, the Atelier is where that gets curated, a Notion brain holds the single source of truth, and Switchboard lets one session reach every account. The whole thing was stood up, dogfooded, and audited inside seventy-two hours, and the sixth pillar is the audit itself, the unflattering one that says which parts are not ready. This site is the first proof.

Selected Features

Eight, scored

The strongest single features, pulled out of the projects above.

The wholesale desk

One desk that runs a gem house: customers, memos, invoices, shows and mail, where a rep used to open a different system for each.

The book it replaces is still the book of record, so the desk reads from it on every import rather than forking it.

02Caveman GemsGets workTechnical

The jewelry builder

Pick a real stone and a ring is drawn around it at the stone’s measured size, the price moving with every change.

The mounting is computed, not modeled: one function turns a stone’s recorded length, width and depth into closed meshes, with the bench rules written as numbers.

The client’s Window

Every client gets a private page: what was built each day, the files, and what they have asked for.

Nothing is written twice. A day is logged once, and the client reads the same record with the workings taken off it.

The wholesale front door

A trade-only home for a gem house: the whole inventory open to browse, every price behind an approved account.

Prices are grafted in on the server, after the cache, for approved members only, so a logged-out page never holds a figure to hide.

05LimIconDesign

The LimIcon floor

Eight rooms as small ceramic tiles, one box to create or search, and a word of the day beneath.

Nothing else here looks like it. A tool for inventing words had to read as a place rather than a form.

06UnImpactDesignTechnical

The gravity map

Where a public decision was made, where it lands, and how far apart the two sit, across 141 records from public sources.

SVG has no z-index, so document order decides what the pointer reaches first: a mark beats a pin beats a county.

07LimIconTechnical

The word engine

Describe a thing there is no word for and get candidates built from more than 2,500 attested roots, each with a sound, a meaning and a sentence.

The room shown makes no AI call. The word and its card are assembled by rule, so creating there is free.

The selection tray

Gather stones as plates or as a ledger and compare them side by side; trade prices reach approved buyers only.

It adds and replaces nothing: it reads the product data the shop’s search engine already prints and redraws it as a tray, a ledger or a comparison.
